Patrick Rabdau has worked as a freelance Producer, Cameraman/Steadicam Operator and Avid editor for the past 17 years in NYC.

His company Little Big Pictures, located in the heart of Tribeca, is an extension of his experience in television, video, and film.

For seven seasons, Pat worked on PBS showsEgg” and “City Arts.”  Both shows focused on the arts and won multiple Emmy Awards (one of which he shot).

Also for PBS, he shot and edited a documentary on arts and education in the New York State public school system entitled, “pARTnership.”  Other programs for PBS include the “Tony Awards”, and “City Life.”

Recent projects include a 13-part reality series “Into Character” for American Movie Classics (AMC), as well as a 12-part documentary series on little league baseball entitled, “On The Team” for Nickelodeon.  Also, this past year, Patrick worked on a 4-part sports series “Insider Training” for the Discovery Network.

Other recent credits include working as a Director of Photography for a feature length documentary on African Dance & Percussion shot in Guinea, West Africa.

Outside of television, Little Big Pictures recently produced, directed and edited an 8-minute industrial film for International Trucks as well as 2 commercials spots for Washington Mutual Bank.

A few years back, Little Big Pictures produced a 3 part exercise series entitled Conductorcise– A SOUND Workout for Mind, Body, and Soul.   This DVD series (geared towards senior citizens) was recently featured on the Today Show, the New York Times, and Town and Country Magazine.

Little Big Pictures also produced an educational/how-to video entitled “Zen and the Art of Freestyle Frisbee.”  This video has won 3-educational video awards and has been featured on the A & E Network.

Presently, Little Big Pictures is finishing work on 15-interactive videos for the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
